About the presenters:
Dean Furman
Dean is the author of Exponential potential. In this book, he takes readers through almost element of growing a company and innovation in this fast-changing world. He is the CEO of 1064 Degrees and has helped multiple of the country’s biggest companies to radically improve their innovation efforts and plug into the new world of business through his power talks, and other innovation enabling services (eg: Nandos, Tiger Brands, ABSA, Deloitte, Nedbank, FNB, Exclusive Books, Stanlib, Bidvest, Sasfin, Merchants and Alexander Forbes)
Dean is also the creator of ‘Dawn of Disruption’ the world’s first board-game that teaches you about business disruption and the impacts of Artificial Intelligence.
Prior to founding 1065 Degrees, Dean headed up a radical innovation skukworks called Innoruption Holdings funded by the Alexander Forbes group. He was recognized by the Mail & Guardian as one of South Africa’s top people under 35 for his effors. Dean is an actuary by profession and showed a knack for innovation early in his career twice winning Discovery’s annual award for top actuarial innovation.
