Event Description:

Welcome to the dawn of your professional legacy. The 2026 Young Difference Makers Welcoming Event is not merely an induction; it is a high-octane celebration of the grit, brilliance, and ambition that has brought you to this milestone.

Set against the sophisticated backdrop of @Sandton Hotel, this evening is designed to immerse our newly qualified CA(SA), AGA(SA), and AT(SA) members into a community of excellence. Under the theme “A Legacy of Light,” we invite you to step into an atmosphere of velvet blues and sterling brilliance. Tonight, we acknowledge you as the “North Stars” of the accounting profession – the guiding lights who will navigate the complexities of the global economy with integrity and vision.

Prepare for an exhilarating experience where professional prestige meets soulful inspiration.

  • To formally welcome and seamlessly integrate new associates and members into the professional community of SAICA, ensuring a sense of belonging and alignment with the institute’s standards.

  • To instil a profound sense of purpose by motivating attendees to look beyond traditional metrics and embrace their responsibility as “Difference Makers” within society.

  • To facilitate meaningful engagement between emerging talent and established industry icons through keynote addresses and the sharing of visionary leadership insights.

  • To enable high-value networking opportunities, allowing attendees to cultivate a robust “constellation” of strategic peer and mentor relationships.

  • To demonstrate SAICA’s steadfast investment in the next generation, reinforcing the principle that our members remain at the heart of every organisational endeavour.

As a newly qualified professional, you have become a North Star within our constellation of leaders, where the spark of your qualification now shines as the light of your career—a journey you won’t walk alone, as SAICA remains your lifelong partner in embracing the pride and responsibility of excellence while illuminating the path toward a prosperous, transparent future through ethics and innovation.
